With the first race of the UCI WorldTour kicking off over in Adelaide at the Santos Tour Down Under, the event village house across the road from the team hotel in Victoria Square has transformed into arguably the biggest consumer cycling trade show in the Southern Hemisphere. So with so many distributors and brands in the one place, we couldn't resist picking up a camera and heading over to check out what was on show. Iconic wheel component brand DT Swiss was showcasing cutaways of it's popular 350, 250 and 180 ceramic hubs.
They were also showing off their all-new 180 Ratchet EXP hubset, which moves from a star ratchet design to a single spring system. The advantages of the single spring system are said to be reduced weight, improved stiffness and increased durability over the old dual-spring system.
Orbea was showcasing it's My0 custom paint option on this stunning Orca Aero.
The My0 system allows buyers to customise their paint schemes in seemingly anyway they see fit. We think the silver and gold here just works.
The Pirelli stand, stand featuring it's half-cut F1 car was buzzing all week.
With buy one, get one free deals on offer at the stand, it'd be rude not to snap up a bargain.
Schwalbe was showcasing it's recently updated One, Pro One and Pro One TT tyres, complete with limited edition tan sidewalls. The new TT is claimed to be one of the fastest rolling tyres on the market, however, the thin tread and lightweight mean this rubber is best reserved for race day.
The all-around Schwalbe One, is the pick for most riders.
Belgian helmet manufacturer Lazer was showcasing is vast range of road lids.

A fleet of Felt FR3 demo bikes waiting for riders to test out on the roads of Adelaide.
Rotor supplier Groupe Sportif was showcasing its Uno groupset. While it's been out for a few years now, it's still rare to see a complete groupset in the wild.
The Uno groupset is unique in that it uses hydraulic lines to actuate the derailleurs, as well as the brakes. The cassette pictured here is machined out of a single block of aluminium and is said to tip the scales at a meagre 135g, which is around 60g lighter than a Shimano Dura-Ace cassette, not too shabby indeed.
Where's the motor?... The Focus tent was buzzing with plenty of punters checking out the Paralane2 e-Road Bike
The recently refreshed Focus Izalco Max sits pride of place in the Focus/Cervelo booth.
The Bianchi Specialissima was already a pretty special ride, however this 20-year anniversary paint scheme recognising Marco Pantani's sweep of the Giro-Tour double definitely tugs at the heartstrings.
