Cannondale is a well-known brand that has been making innovative and quality bikes since 1971.
Cannondale has three main categories of road bikes: Elite Road, Elite Endurance and New Road. Each category has different models that cater to different types of riders and terrain.
Elite Road: These are the fastest and lightest bikes in the range, designed for racing and speed. They have aerodynamic frames, stiff carbon forks and powerful brakes. The flagship model is the SystemSix, which is claimed to be the fastest UCI-legal road bike in the world. Other models include the SuperSix EVO, which is a versatile all-rounder with a balanced mix of stiffness, comfort and handling; and the CAAD series, which is an affordable aluminium bike range with a cult-following and smooth ride quality.
Elite Endurance: These are bikes for long-distance riding, comfort and stability. They have more relaxed geometries, wider tyres and disc brakes for better control. The flagship model is the Synapse, which is a carbon fibre bike with a smooth suspension system that absorbs road vibrations.
New Road: These are bikes for adventure and exploration. They have versatile frames that can handle different terrains, from paved roads to dirt trails. They have wide tyres, disc brakes and mounts for racks and fenders.
